Philadelphia based Lojit integrates disparate eras of audio tech into angular dance-floor driven experiences. Live and in the studio, they bind strong influences from warehouse rave culture, tech-step, hard techno, computer theory and the internet warez scene via crumbling concrete drums and hyperreal emotional motifs. An advocate of open technology, they contribute code to several projects such as Pure-Data and Aubio. Lojit is the floor-oriented techno arm of Philadelphia based artist Anthony Lauzon. He is a founder and current resident of the Extra Dark brand and has been producing music, facilitating events and developing music technology for over a decade.
